Before a photographer, I am an anthropologist. For me, the camera is a way of seeing, exploring, learning, and living. People drive pictures, at once tangled up in and exhibiting singular and archetypal forces at work.
Prophotopro (short for Professional Photographic Productions), showcases imagery I have created for private clientel - primarily wedding and event coverage, as well as portraiture. I am currently available for hire worldwide with flexible terms of service, and am at home in Honolulu, Hawai'i and Tucson, Arizona.
For my academic work in anthropology and archaeology, please see jessestephen.com.
Thank you for visiting, and happy trails.
Aloha,

| THE FINE PRINT: born and raised in tucson, arizona | find me outside (think mountains and waves - note educational institutions attended) | endurance athlete and lover of quality and quantity foodstuffs | grew up the son of an archaeologist, best efforts not to become an archaeologist failing fantastically | kept on toes by two conniving younger sisters | lived in france, australia, england | mom wins mountain bike races then delivers babies | pilot's license would be sweet | dual USA/UK citizen | learned to shoot by bashing a bombproof nikkormat around | philosophy as simple as live aloha | first and still-favorite vehicle is a 1976 toyota landcruiser FJ55, "the iron pig" | quick on the draw with the camera, as well as water balloons... |
